Portal 2 szkenek és pár infó

- Portal was a 'test bed', Portal 2 is a 'game'.
- GlaDOS returns as the antagonist.
- Chell returns, and we play as her.
- Portal 2 takes place a long time after the original. Hundreds of years, in fact. The complex has overgrown.
- Those orbs seen at the end of Portal are personality orbs. They've cornered off sections of the labs as their own, and are concerned about the decaying state of the complex.
- The opening sounds **** awesome. Im a bit **** I spoiled it for myself.
- Portal gun remains unchanged.
- Physics will now be part of portal puzzle solving. EG: A vent that sucks air in can be combined with a portal to 'suck' from a different location.
- "Paint" mechanic, various liquid substances that cause some reaction. For example, in the demo shown a orange substance on the floor caused Chell to be propelled upwards. Using portals you can apply these 'paints' to other areas of the level for puzzle solving.
- Reflection cubes will allow Chell to reflect lazers for various puzzles.
- The co-op campaign will have you playing as two bipedal robots. The like to hold hands.
- Splitscreen for people playing on the console, and 'picture in picture' available for those playing remote co-op (eg: PC). This allows you to easily communicate with the other player and combine efforts for puzzle solving.

de amúgy én is örülök a hírnek, hátha egy kicsit elgondolkodnak, hogy talán mégse olyan tökéletes ez a DRM rendszer... már persze ha a játékosok megtartása a cél.

The combat and hand-to-hand seemed to flow well, as I mentioned. The cover system is button activated, not just sticky (you have to press a button when near cover to enter cover mode). Nice variety of weapons, with each seeming to have it's own use. Was told you can scavenge and mod weapons in the field if you have the proper skills purchased.

Edit: Demonstrator also mentioned that the story line is told through a series of flashbacks/flashforwards that gradually get nearer and nearer to "in sync" with present day action. He alluded to it being a very unique and cool way to tell the story, and I inferred from his hints that you are able to make decisions in present day action that determine which flashbacks/flashforwards you see/take part in.

Blizzard-ék érthető módon túl kockázatosnak érezték a megjelentetését, ezredét se hozta volna az egyéb címeknek, hiába volt még viszonylag kalandjátékbarátabb az az időszak (bár már erősen hanyatlóban volt), akkor se. egyszerűen rosszul nézett volna ki utólag a portfóliójukban Warcaft II(?) és Diablo sikere után már csak tuti címeket mertek bevállalni

béta alapján ez már nem C&C játék hanem egy mecha-állatkert aréna robot dínókkal meg egyéb ökörségekkel. annak viszont nem rossz, lehet vele marháskodni de túlságosan meglódult a tisztelt készítők fantáziája...

Hát,a CnC hangulatnak nem sok morzsáját fedeztem fel. Az egységhangok pedig nagyon sok esetben sírógörcsöt okoztak...
