A világítótorony egyszerre egy irányba világít,

Alaposabban átolvasva a wikipédiás linket, úgy vélem, hogy a tehetséges kolléga csúnyán félreértett valamit.
Középen van egy lámpa, és annak a fényét gyakorlatilag 24 lencse (Fresnel-lencse, de az most mindegy) vetíti egyszerre 24 irányba.
Ha 4 percenként egyet fordul az egész apparátus, akkor ki is jön, hogy 10 másodpercenként fordul feléd egy-egy nyaláb.

Maximum 4 darab megfelelő méretű fresnel-lencsét lehet beletuszkolni egy ekkora toronyba, de az általam eddig látott világítótornyok 99%-ában vagy egy vagy kettő volt.

Szerk.: Meg ha valóban egyszerre világít mind a 24 irányba a torony akkor kb. nevetséges az a fotó mert akárki meg tudja csinálni akinek van egy állványa meg egy akármilyen fényképezőgépe és megtalálja rajta az éjszakai módot...

Tisztában vagyok vele hogy mi az a fresnel-lencse, egyrészt mert tanultam optikát, másrészt mert van itthon. Btw. ha megnézed a wikis linket, ott pl. épp az látszik hogy egy normális világítótoronyban 1-4 lencse van, úgy látszik ez a Pigeon Point kivétel. Viszont így meg életbelép a második pont, lol fail a kép, a pár évvel ezelőtti NatGeo címlapos jégmadaras magyarfotósos csalós botrány jut eszembe róla...

Szerk: Különben a wikis Fresnel-lencsés cikkről el lehet jutni egy oldalra, ahol a lencse segítségével fókuszált Napfénnyel végzett ökörködésről írnak - kipróbálnám
80 dollárért lehet is venni 50×90 centis Fresnel-lencsét. Ha fizikaszertáros lennék, vennék egyet.

Kitömött jégmadarat fotózott a csávó, kikerült a magyar NatGeo címlapjára (meg asszem cikkben megjelent az amerikai kiadásban is), aztán valami ornitológus-professzor betelefonált a szerkesztőségbe hogy igazából szép és jó de egy élő jégmadár nem tud ilyen pózt felvenni.

Ez kétségtelen, de ezért is nem a fotopicba került, mint über-virtuóz kép, hanem ide, mert nem lol, de érdemes megnézni. Mert jól néz ki, mint azt te is megemlítetted.

Az autós képbe is beleköthettél volna ennyi erővel: lol fail, mert akárki meg tudja csinálni, akinek van egy fényképezőgépe, és megtalálja rajta az exponáló billentyűt, még állvány se kell!
