Szerintem meg csak akkor lenne ever, ha azt írná, hogy You don't ever want to... Így, külön mondatként a végén a never a helyes szerintem. Még úgy is, ha never again lenne. Mivel külön mondat, ezért nem kettős tagadás. A nyakamat nem tenném rá, de nekem valahogy így hangzik jól.
